ProtectTheHarvest.com Pro Stock driver Rodger Brogdon is ready to make some noise in the K&N Horsepower Challenge! But Brogdon needs YOUR help to get in. Seven drivers earn their spots in the Challenge, held at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, based on qualifying points since last year's event, and ONE gets in via a fan vote. You can place your bet on Brogdon and put him in the K&N Horsepower Challenge, where he promises to go all in to win the $50,000 first prize.
Who is Rodger Brogdon?
He's a veteran NHRA driver with championships in Competition Eliminator. Brogdon has driven in Pro Stock for several years, but for 2013, he's upped his race program, starting an in-house engine program and moving the team into a new shop in Houston. Brogdon is a successful businessman and is proud to partner with ProtectTheHarvest.com, Lucas Oil and MAVTV for 2013.
What is the Horsepower Challenge?
It's a special race within a race held at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on April 6. The Challenge pits the seven Pro Stock racers who have accumulated the most qualifying points since the last specialty event, and one driver selected by fans in an online vote. The K&N Horsepower Challenge will feature three rounds of racing and the winner will earn $50,000.
Who else can win?
You! Fans can also participate by entering the K&N Horsepower Challenge Sweepstakes. Eight finalists will be chosen who will receive a trip for two to the race. On the day of the event, each finalist will be randomly paired with one of the eight qualified drivers; the fan finalist whose driver wins the race will take home the 2013 K&N Horsepower Challenge special-edition Toyota Tacoma.
